April 2019

I have been in the field of education since 2005, in many different roles. Some highlights of my career include working for the University of Michigan conducting educational research throughout the state, working as a high school Math/Science teacher in self-contained classrooms, and most recently before coming to Oxford as a teacher consultant in a high school setting since 2012 in Warren, Michigan. I held the positions of the department chair, SLC coordinator, Assessment coordinator, and head softball coach. Oxford has given me the opportunity since April 2019, to take my career down a new path as a Special Education Teacher Consultant at the Elementary school level.

My husband and I reside in the Village of Oxford where we purchased a historic home in June 2020. We have six children ages 16-25 and have also added a puppy to our family as well in the fall of 2020.
