April 20, Minor Bus Accident

Dear Oxford Parents and Guardians,

This morning, one of our Oxford School buses was involved in a minor traffic accident.  There were no injuries and our students who were on board the bus have been safely transported to school.

While traveling southbound on M-24 in the Village of Oxford, our school bus passed the DPW street sweeper.  The mirror of the bus made contact with the mirror of the street sweeper.  Our bus driver immediately informed the Transportation Department, and the appropriate authorities were notified.  The damage was limited to the mirrors on both vehicles.  All of the students who were on board were transferred to another bus and transported safely to school and all of their parents have been contacted.

Thank you,

Oxford Community Schools Transportation Department
