Dear Wildcat Nation,
As we continue to follow the Oakland County Health Division regarding COVID mitigation, this coming Monday, February 28 the emergency order 2021-1 requiring masks in school buildings will be rescinded. Therefore, students and staff are no longer required to wear a mask in the buildings and it will become an individual choice. Students and staff must still wear masks on our school buses, however, through March 18, 2022 per the TSA face mask requirement.
Please note, we strongly recommend that anyone who has been exposed to COVID, regardless of their vaccination status, wear a mask to help prevent spread. Anyone who is not feeling well should stay home.
The District is relieved to share COVID cases continue to diminish amongst our schools and we currently have only one active case reported. Wildcats, as always we strongly encourage respect and kindness toward one another including one’s choice to wear or not wear a mask. Together we are OxfordStrong.
