Dear Oxford Schools Community,
Tomorrow, Friday, June 3, is National Gun Violence Awareness Day. Orange is the defining color of gun violence prevention. To honor Hana, Justin, Madisyn, and Tate along will all those whose lives have been taken or forever changed by senseless gun violence, we invite our school community to come together to wear the color orange tomorrow. The intention of tomorrow’s action is not political in nature but an educational opportunity in the awareness that each day more than 100 lives are cut short by gun violence.
