March 18, A Final Message from Tim Throne

Dear Wildcat Nation,

Thank you all for the kind words and messages over the last several days.  As my official last day has been approaching, I have gone back and forth as to what I wanted to say in this final message.  I have concluded it is not about me but about all of you, Wildcat Nation.

Oxford is special and I will always call it home. The Oxford Schools community has a heart like no other. We are a family with the resiliency to overcome and the dedication to consistently put one another first. I am hopeful that the overwhelming extensions of empathy, kindness, and grace will endure as they have carried us through the worst of times. We have faced the unimaginable together. You all make me proud to be a Wildcat.

I have no doubt that you are in good hands as I have had the privilege to work alongside the amazing professionals in this district for the past 21 years. I have been so blessed to work with Team O.  Day in and day out, our incredible people serve our students and families with unmatched authenticity, care, and integrity.

I am grateful for the relationships I have made and for the extraordinary opportunity to have served you.

Always a Wildcat,

Tim Throne
