May 4, All for Oxford Resiliency Center

Please see the information below from Common Ground Program Director Jamie Ayers on the opening of the All for Oxford Resiliency Center:

Dear Oxford School Community,

Common Ground is proud to announce the opening of the All for Oxford Resiliency Center. Funded by The State of Michigan through a grant by the Federal Anti-terrorism and Emergency Assistance Program, All for Oxford Resiliency Center will be a welcoming place where people feel comfortable connecting with others, while finding appropriate services to assist in the healing process. Importantly, the creation of All for Oxford is being guided by the Oxford Community, for the Oxford community.

Our physical location at 1370 S. Lapeer Rd in Oxford, Michigan is currently being renovated and will be fully operational in a few weeks. Guided by our director, Jamie Ayers, we are devoted to promoting mental and emotional well-being by providing opportunities for people to come together, find support, restore the community’s sense of safety and security, and help each other heal.

As we prepare to open our doors, we are ready to start supporting community members through our helpline, speak to individuals who would like to share ideas about shaping the center to fit their needs, and form partnerships with organizations, groups, and individuals who are already working to support their community.

Please contact our director by emailing [email protected]. Or visit www.allforoxford.org to learn more about the All for Oxford Resiliency Center. We invite you to reach out for support, offer to share your skills to help others, or share your ideas about how we can grow to fit the needs of the community.

We look forward to collaborating to make All for Oxford a center for long-term healing.

Sincerely,
Jamie Ayers
