Dear Oxford Parents and Students,
We have been in contact with the Lake Orion school leadership and law enforcement regarding a potential safety concern in one of the Lake Orion schools. We have been informed that everyone is safe and secure in Lake Orion and the situation is being handled by law enforcement. Due to the proximity and our close relationship with our neighboring district, we wanted to reassure you our Oxford students and staff are not in any danger, were not placed in lock down and are continuing on with their regularly scheduled day.
Additionally, there was a minor medical incident with a student at Oxford High School. EMS was called and is currently with the student. The student is doing well.
