November 28, Wildcat Remembrance Day Information

Dear Oxford Families and Staff,

As the one-year mark of the tragedy approaches, we implore everyone in our community, and beyond, to let LOVE win this week and always. As a reminder, all district buildings will be closed on Wildcat Remembrance Day, November 30, 2022. Please spend this day how you and your family need to – to heal, reflect, mourn, and most of all, to love.

Mental Health supports and opportunities to gather around our community are listed on our website at https://www.oxfordschools.org/for_parents___students/wildcat_remembrance_day. As we are made aware of additional opportunities, they will be added to this page.

Please join us in coming together in solidarity as a school community wherever you and your family are with a moment of silence at 12:51 p.m. on November 30.  At 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening, we invite everyone to simultaneously light luminaries outside your homes. Luminaries continue to be available at the All For Oxford Resiliency Center. Let us light up Oxford with love as we honor the beautiful lives that were taken from us far too soon - Hana, Tate, Justin, and Madisyn.

Sincerely,
Anita Qonja-Collins
Interim-Superintendent
