Dear OCS Families,
At 11:48am today, an alarm sounded at Stoney Creek High School indicating the building was placed in lockdown. Rochester Community Schools Superintendent Robert Shaner has communicated to RCS families, “there are no known threats or injuries”. Rochester law enforcement has cleared Stoney Creek HS and is investigating the source of the alarm. The district also temporarily placed Hart Middle School, Hugger Elementary and North Hill Elementary into lockdown, but have since received the all clear from law enforcement.
We wanted to provide our families with an update, knowing some people may have received messages from those they know in Rochester. Our students are safe and OHS teachers are informing students of the situation at Stoney Creek HS in their classrooms.
