August 2, Free Breakfast & Lunch Clarification

Dear Oxford Families,

We apologize for any confusion regarding the free breakfast and lunch message sent earlier today, not everyone needs to fill out the free and reduced meal application. All students, regardless of household income, will receive one free breakfast and one free lunch per day at school per the new approved Senate Bill.

However, those whose income qualifies for free and reduced meals still need to complete the application. As a reminder, those who qualify for free and reduced meals, may receive discounted internet service, have SAT test fees waived, and (if the state chooses to issue them again) P-EBT cards. To determine if your household income qualifies, please refer to the FAQs document with income guidelines, which can also be found on our website.

Please continue to watch for updates from the district as we receive information from the state about the program. If you have any questions, contact the Director of Nutrition Services, Patty Silorey, [email protected], or by phone 248-969-5120.
