Dear Oxford High School Families,
Following this morning’s evacuation due to a natural gas odor, the building has been thoroughly assessed and cleared by the fire department. Students and staff have safely returned inside, and normal operations have resumed.
At this time, there are no safety concerns. Our team will continue working to determine the source of the odor.

Dear Oxford High School Families,
This morning, we identified a strong natural gas odor in Oxford High School. Out of an abundance of caution, we have evacuated the entire building and moved students and staff outside while the situation is assessed.
The fire department is on-site and actively working to determine the source. We will continue to share updates as more information becomes available.

Mr. Don is the best! Our bus stop is at our driveway and every morning he throws out a treat for our dog. It's our dogs favorite part of the day now, every day he begs to go outside 5-10 minutes before the bus comes and sits in the driveway to wait for his daily treat. Our son has also been running late once or twice and Mr. Don waited for him to come out so that he wouldn't miss the bus. THANK YOU!!!!

I am beyond grateful that my daughter was placed in Mrs. Leroy’s kindergarten class this year. We were super nervous for our Covid baby to start school full time, and she has done nothing but thrive in kindergarten all thanks to her teacher! Mrs. LeRoy is so kind, patient, and thoughtful. Every interaction we’ve had with Mrs. LeRoy has been nothing but positive and reassuring. Her attitude and overall demeanor is pure joy and she is everything you would ever hope for as an educator of young children. Mr. Trombly has been a tremendous mentor, friend, teacher and coach for my son during his involvement in the CTE, Mechatronics and Robotics program at Oxford High School. Mr. Trombly has provided the perfect balance of kindness, directness, fun, motivation, humor and the extra nudge that has constantly inspired my son to reach beyond his current capabilities. Craig has also provided all of the required resources, time and extra support that has allowed our son and other students to realize their full potential. I am so appreciative to Mr. Trombly for the extra time that he spends supporting the high school OCCRA and FRC robotics programs in the evenings and weekends supporting the students, while sacrificing time away from his family. His unselfish sacrifice and his inspiration of the students deserves special recognition.
