Now these “everyday” buckets are transforming into instruments—our 4th graders are already preparing to showcase them in their upcoming concert, and our 3rd graders have begun composing their very own bucket drum pieces.
So grateful for a community that supports creativity, music, and our students’ joy in learning 💛🎶

DA and OES turned March Madness into MUSIC Madness! 🎶🏀
Students went head-to-head in an epic Battle of the Decades, voting their way through rounds of hits from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and beyond. Even the teachers joined in on the voting! There were some major upsets, lots of strong opinions, and even more singing in the hallways!
After all the votes were counted, the champion was “Sunroof” by Nicky Youre.
It was such a fun and memorable way to celebrate music across generations!

The 2026 Oxford Gives Back cleanup is happening this weekend, April 18–19!
We’re so excited to come together once again to support our neighbors in need. Take a look back at photos from the past two years to see the incredible impact, teamwork, and heart that make this event so special. 💛
We are still in need of site leaders and volunteers to help make this year’s cleanup a success. If you’re able to give a little time, it goes a long way in helping local families and strengthening our community.
There are still several homes open on Saturday, so now is a great time to sign up and get involved!

To celebrate, the class recently turned off the lights to enjoy all things glow-themed, including glow Jeopardy and math glow Jenga!
