Supporting our youngest learners from the very beginning!

Our Occupational Therapy team works with children from the very beginning in our Birth-to-3 program and special education preschool programs, helping them develop the skills they need to learn and grow! These services are primarily provided through the Oxford Early Learning Center and support students long before they enter our DK-12 classrooms.

Mrs. Slingerland is all smiles as she works and learns alongside some of her students!

O TOWN Membership Information

As another school year comes to a close, we wish all of our OCS families a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer!

Before summer schedules take over, we have one request: please make a plan to participate in the August 4 election. This is an important vote for our district and community, and summer elections often see lower voter turnout.

If you expect to be out of town on Election Day, requesting an absentee ballot is quick and easy through the Michigan Voter Information Center online. Your ballot will be mailed to you in late June.

Thank you for staying informed and taking part in the decisions that affect our community.

Sincerely,
Oxford Community Schools

When many people hear the word “millage,” they think of additional or extra projects. In Michigan, operating millages are a standard part of school funding and help support the day-to-day operations of school districts. Oxford Community Schools currently receives this funding, which helps support transportation, athletics and extracurricular activities, classroom resources, student support services, and academic programming.

Without continued operating millage funding, Oxford Community Schools would need to make approximately $7 million in annual reductions across the district. This video illustrates some of the financial realities the district would face without this funding.

Election Day is August 4, 2026.

Our OES third graders officially wrapped up their character study reading unit, and they celebrated in the best way possible — with a Winn-Dixie-inspired party!

Our amazing students got to experience the story firsthand with book-inspired decorations and a menu straight from the pages. From Littmus Lozenges to egg salad sandwiches and Dump Punch, it was the perfect way to reward all of their hard work.

To top off the celebration, they cozied up to watch the movie adaptation, comparing how their favorite characters jumped from the page to the big screen!
