Join us on Tuesday, November 4, from 9 AM to 12 PM in the Oxford Middle School main lot (1420 Lakeville Rd.) for another chance to get behind the wheel and see what it’s like to be part of our amazing transportation team.
Want to join the team but don’t want to drive? No problem! We’re also interviewing for Bus Monitor positions on site.
Also, during the event, stop by the Booster’s trailer and grab some OCS merchandise! We hope to see you there!

Our cheer team plays such an important role in bringing the energy to the stadium on Friday nights. We appreciate them so much for all they do to represent Oxford with pride each week!

As part of our focus on student safety, we want to remind everyone how important it is to stay alert and follow school bus safety laws.
When a school bus has its stop sign extended, all drivers are required to stop. This is not only the law, it is a critical step in protecting students as they get on and off the bus.
Thank you for helping us keep our roads and students safe!

Dear OCS Families and Staff,
We are reaching out to make you aware that Oxford Community Schools has learned that a substitute employee who worked in a support role within our transportation department was arrested on federal charges last week. The charges followed a federal investigation and are unrelated to Oxford Community Schools or any school-related activities. The district has taken steps to communicate with the small number of families whose students rode the bus with this employee. The individual is no longer employed by Oxford Community Schools.
Please note, as a condition of employment, every Oxford Community Schools employee, including substitutes, is legally required to complete a comprehensive criminal background check as outlined by the FBI and Michigan State Police.
Our focus remains on maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all students. While the investigation does not involve the district, we take this matter seriously and remain fully committed to the safety of our students through the integrity of our hiring and background check processes.
Sincerely,
Oxford Community Schools
This evening’s board of education meeting will be live-streamed courtesy of OCTV and can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/@OCTVMichigan. For those attending the meeting in person, the meeting location is at Oxford Elementary School. This regular board meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Day 2 of Safe Schools Week: Celebrating Our Cardiac Teams ❤️
Our cardiac teams in each building play a major role in keeping our schools safe. As a Michigan Heart Smart certified district, team members are CPR and AED trained and always ready to respond in an emergency.
Featured here is the incredible cardiac team from Oxford Elementary. Thank you for your commitment to school safety!

Did Mr. Kaye know what he was signing up for as Leonard’s new principal? Probably not a night on the roof! After students crushed their Fund Run goal, he kept his promise, complete with a rooftop bedtime story! 📖🌙
Big thanks to Mr. Kaye, the students, families, and staff for making this such a success! 💙💛

They really do put on the Greatest Show! 🎶
The marching band’s energy and music bring so much joy to Friday nights, and this year’s performance of The Greatest Showman has been impressive! After spending long, hot days at camp before the school year, the band works extra hard to prepare for the season.
Big thanks to Wheaton Photography for the great photos!

Dear Oxford Families,
I want to take a moment to share something important with you. We’ve put together a very short video (just 2½ minutes) that explains what will be on the ballot this November. I implore you to watch it. It has even helped me, as the district superintendent, to better understand the proposals, and I hope it will help you feel informed as well.
Absentee voting has already started, and Election Day is just around the corner on November 4. If you find the video helpful, please consider forwarding it to friends and family who live in Oxford, or sharing it on social media if you’re comfortable doing so.
For additional information including Frequently Asked Questions, please visit https://oxfordschools.org/millage. Thank you for taking a few minutes to be informed; it truly makes a difference!

A big shoutout to our incredible Oxford RoboCats team for finishing the 2025 offseason strong at the Kettering Day 2 Event! With a perfect 7-0 record, they went undefeated and brought home the trophy. This was their third win at Kettering this year, which is an amazing achievement.
