🏆 This year, two outstanding students—Dayton Hornung and Cameron McCarthy—were each honored with $2,500 scholarships from Skalnek Ford to support their goals of becoming automotive technicians.
🛻 And just look at this truck! Skalnek Ford also donated a Ford F-150 to the program—a major addition that will give our students real-world experience with scan tools and new car prep procedures.

🎓Wednesday was an unforgettable day as we said goodbye to the amazing Class of 2025!
💙💛The celebration kicked off with a Senior Breakfast, where students shared their exciting plans for the future. Then, the fun continued at the carnival—music, bounce houses, outdoor games, a watermelon-eating contest, and so much more!
🌟To cap off this special day, we honored our seniors with an emotional clap out, sending them off with pride, joy, and a few happy tears.

🎉 To celebrate beating their PTO FUNd Run goal of $20,000, Clear Lake Elementary hosted the BMX Big Air Bully Free assembly right in their back parking lot! Students were treated to amazing BMX stunts and powerful anti-bullying messages. It was such a fun and impactful event!! #OCSWildcats #WorldClassWildcats
🎨🎶 8th grade art and choir students teamed up to create something amazing! Each art student illustrated a line from the song Lakeside Lullaby by Jacob Narverud, while the choir students brought it to life through their voices.

At this week’s board meeting, we had the honor of recognizing our District-level Teachers of the Year and our Support Person of the Year—congratulations again to Steve Ruch, Amelia Haggadone, Kathy Ferguson, and Judy Vitucci!

🤖They competed at the FIRST Championship in Houston, TX, making it to the semifinals in the Milstein Division. Out of 3690 global teams, the RoboCats ranked 90th and placed 10th in Michigan out of 525 teams! 🏆

📖 Reading is sweet! This year, every Clear Lake family received a copy of The Chocolate Touch for a fun school-wide book club during March is Reading Month. To wrap up the month, the top three readers from each class were invited to a special chocolate party with Mrs. Niemi and Mrs. Gierahn, Clear Lake’s reading specialist. They enjoyed a chocolate fountain with all kinds of tasty treats to dip, plus a candy bar where they could make their own goodie bags. Way to go, readers!
