🌟 2025 Staff Appreciation Week Shout-Out 🌟 Mrs. Bausack from OHS has had an incredible impact on all three of my children, teaching them statistics in a way that was both inspiring and engaging. While two of them already had a passion for math, one of them wasn’t as enthusiastic, yet all three absolutely loved her teaching style and the class. Her ability to make complex concepts accessible and enjoyable truly set her apart. The knowledge they gained in her class will undoubtedly serve them well in their future careers—whether as an environmental researcher, doctor, or an actuary. 🌟 2025 Staff Appreciation Week Shout-Out 🌟 Thank you, Daisy and Mr. Ryan, for being such a steady and comforting part of the school community at OHS! 🐕‍🦺Daisy, you weren’t just a K9—you were a calming presence, a reason to smile, and a source of quiet strength when Madi needed it most. You made the hallways feel a little safer and the heavy days a little lighter for Madi and so many students. Mr. Ryan, thank you for your care, your commitment, and the way you always show up—with compassion and understanding. The relationships you are building with students and staff are creating a safe space. You have both created a lasting impact…and one I hope continues for this district and community. Ryan leads by example, sharing lessons from life that the students respond to. Addie looks forward to seeing Mr. Ryan and values his work at OHS. Mr. Ryan takes a genuine interest in Addie and her sports and her academics. He is proud of her when she does well. Most of all, Mr. Ryan makes Addie feel safe at school. 🌟 2025 Staff Appreciation Week Shout-Out 🌟 We really appreciate Mr. Bigelow, OHS Principal, because he’s always approachable, genuinely cares about the students, and works hard to create a supportive and positive school environment. What makes it even more special is that he was also the K–5 principal for our kids at Clear Lake, and now, all these years later, he’s been able to be a part of our son’s final year at OHS and our daughter’s junior year. He genuinely cares about the children and goes out of his way to make sure they know. 🌟 2025 Staff Appreciation Week Shout-Out 🌟 Mrs. Ashley from Leonard truly understands what it means to build a Classroom Family! She loves all of her students like they were her own. Her classroom is full of fun, learning, respect, and excitement!!! The classroom theme is "pickles" this year and she has a fabulous way of weaving that into their learning. She gave them pickle ornaments for the holidays with a story about the significance of it and she gave all of her students a stuffed pickle with an encouraging saying before MSTEP. 🌟 2025 Staff Appreciation Week Shout-Out 🌟 Mrs. LeRoy from DA is a kindergarten teacher who is the heart of her class —kind, caring, and endlessly patient. She greets everyone with a warm smile and Avery reports all students line up for a Mrs. LeRoy hug after lunch. Mrs. LeRoy makes my daughter feel so loved every day, because she truly loves her students like they’re her own. Her classroom isn’t just a place to learn—it’s a place where kids feel safe, supported, and seen. Because of her, my daughter has had a great first experience with school, which was what we wanted most for Avery as she started her school journey. Endless amount of praise and appreciation for Mrs. LeRoy and everything she does for all her students every day. Thank you!!!! -Catelyn H. She gets to know each of her students individually and empowers them to be their best versions of themselves in everything they do! She’s 110% all-in, and her students adore her! She even encourages them outside of the classroom; just yesterday she was all over Seymour Lake Park supporting current and even past students on several different soccer teams and fields!
