🎓 Last night was a special night celebrating Darian Graves, our amazing LOFT graduate! Darian is known for her warmth, caring heart, unforgettable smile, and signature hugs! We’re so proud of everything she’s accomplished and can’t wait to see what she’ll do in her next chapter of her life! And, of course, it wouldn’t be a true LOFT celebration without some incredible homemade food!
The Learning Opportunities for Tomorrow (LOFT) program supports special education students up to age 26 who have completed high school and live in the Oxford district. Enrollment is open year-round! 🌟

✨The 2nd Annual CARES Awards, hosted by the Special Education Parent Advisory Group and Oxford Community Schools’ Special Education Department, was a standing-room-only celebration of compassion, advocacy, and excellence!
We were honored to recognize staff and students who go above and beyond to support students with disabilities across our district. The Laidler Pavilion was filled with energy, pride, and heartfelt appreciation for the everyday heroes in our schools.
To everyone who submitted a nomination, joined us in celebration, or continues to champion inclusion in our community—thank you. Together, we are building a culture of care, respect, and empowerment for all students.

🥳Yesterday was National Speech & Language Pathologist Day and we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the exceptional SLPs across our district!
Speech & Language Pathologists (SLPs) play a critical role in helping students find their voice, sometimes quite literally. From supporting communication and language development to collaborating with teachers and families, their work is woven into the fabric of student success. They bring expertise, creativity, and compassion to complex situations, and they do it all with patience and purpose.
THANK YOU! Your work makes a profound difference in the lives of students, and we’re grateful for everything you do to support our schools and our community.

"I can't help but think that, as we assemble together on this 15th day of May 2025 and celebrate you, the Oxford graduating class of 2025, that this graduation ceremony will forever be described as 'The Granddaddy of Them All.' Your class is special. You are surrounded by your support system this evening to honor you in this incredible setting. Your family, friends, teachers, and staff are by your side. There's a reason we circle this date on our calendar — it's a big deal. You are a big deal…and we are all so proud of you." - Mr. Bigelow

Last week, Career Focused Education Director Lisa Butts and Career Navigator Leslie Fletemier hosted Decision Day during the Class of 2025 breakfast!
🎉To celebrate the "Bright Futures" of the Class of 2025, students were asked to wear gear that signifies their next steps - whether it be college, military, specialty programs, apprenticeships, workforce or gap year and get their picture taken. Students were also asked to sign the class sunrise and pick up a pair of cool sunglasses. A great way to celebrate the last day of school for our seniors!
