Guest and Substitute Opportunities

Join us in this mission as a guest staff member! Oxford guest teachers and substitutes are employed through and paid directly by willSub (ESS Midwest)

We are currently accepting candidates for the following:

  • Guest teachers – OCS guest teachers must have official transcripts showing completion of at least 60 credit hours combined from one or more regionally accredited two or four-year colleges or universities, with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or a State of Michigan Certification, and successfully pass Live Scan criminal history records check.
  • Sub Paraprofessionals, Secretaries, & Noon Aides – OCS sub paraprofessionals must successfully pass Live Scan criminal history records check.

Interested candidates, please complete the attached Substitute Packet and follow the steps below:

  1. Live Scan Fingerprinting – print and complete Live Scan form to take with you to your fingerprinting appointment. Return completed Live Scan, Michigan Waiver, and Criminal History Record Check forms to Human Resources.
  2. Fingerprints already on file with another district? Applicants with fingerprints on file with another district, please be sure to fill out the Fingerprint Release section of the Criminal History Record Check and return to Human Resources. We will facilitate a transfer of prints with that district!
  3. Acceptable Use Policy and Board Policy Acknowledgement pages – print and sign both pages and Return to Human Resources.
  4. willSub application instructions – one-page guide to the application process with willSub.
  5. Complete the willSub application
  6. Return all signed documents the Human Resources Office – we are located in the administration building: 10 N. Washington St., Oxford, MI!
