Support & Recovery Resources

The mental and emotional health of our students, staff and school community is a priority for our district. Mental health supports are available in all of our buildings for any of our students in need.

All for Oxford Resiliency Center: The All for Oxford is managed by Common Ground and funded by the State of Michigan through a grant by the Federal Antiterrorism and Emergency Assistance Program. This agency provides free supportive services for teens, families, and staff members who have been impacted by the events of November 30, 2021.  Check out their website All for Oxford Resiliency Center for resources. You are also welcome to call the center at 248.653.5511 to schedule a meeting with one of their Victim Navigators to learn more about the support they can provide.

If you feel you or your child is in need of long term, ongoing mental health support, here are some options available to you:

  • Work with your private insurance to find a provider.
  • Oakland Community Health Network's non-emergency service access team determines eligibility to receive public mental health supports, as well as assists people in navigating information about private insurance mental health needs. 

Non-Emergency Mental Health Services, including substance use: 248.464.6363 24/7 access is located at the OCHN Resource & Crisis Center (1200 N. Telegraph Rd., Bldg. 32 E, in Pontiac, MI 48326)

  • Additionally, a 24/7 Resource and Crisis helpline/text/chat remains available for anyone who would like to speak with professionally-trained Helpline volunteers from Common Ground at 1.800.231.1127 and 1.844.446.4225

Easterseals: Easterseals continues to provide therapeutic services to high school and middle school students. Easterseals has therapists in the school building which students can access.  

Suicide and Crisis Hotline: 988 is the national number to call for emergency crisis intervention. 988 offers 24/7 call, text and chat access to trained crisis counselors who can help people experiencing suicidal thoughts, substance use, and/or mental health crisis, or any other kind of emotional distress. People can also dial 988 if they are worried about a loved one who may need crisis support. 988 will also provide resource services for intervention help.
