SCHOOL OF CHOICE IS CLOSED FOR SECOND SEMESTER/TRIMESTER 2020-21
We will not be meeting with parents to enroll students Face-to-face. However, you may start your online enrollment and upload your documents thru Enrollment Gateway. Please do not attempt to make an appointment as there are no dates set up at this time.
To begin the enrollment process for all incoming students DK/K-12th grade, please read through this page and then complete the online pre-enrollment application and upload documents in our Enrollment Gateway at the bottom.
Oxford Community Schools is a Schools of Choice
participant. This allows students, who
do not live within our district boundaries, to apply for enrollment. The Oxford Community School board approves
requirements for Schools of Choice candidates.
We have right of School Placement based on availability just prior to
school starting. Schools of Choice Elementary students will be placed after
resident students who live within the district boundaries are placed.
Requirements

Parents are responsible for transportation to
and from school

Semester Enrollment Programs & Grade Levels:
DK/Kindergarten thru 9th grade – Unlimited
v Children who turn five on or before 9/01 qualify for Kindergarten
v Children who turn five on or before 9/01 qualify for DK
v Children who turn five between 9/02 – 12/01 may register for both Developmental Kindergarten or Kindergarten WITH A SIGNED WAIVER RECEIVED BY STUDENT SERVICES OR THEY CAN NOT ATTEND SCHOOL.

10th & 11th grades- Unlimited to IB, Engineering Academy, Health Science, Early College and Dance Conservatory programs
(Approved candidates only).* Note must have documentation from your school, if they are closed we
can't get it.

Enrollment
Process
To begin the enrollment process, a parent or legal guardian
must complete the online pre-enrollment application in Enrollment Gateway in
the link below.
Once you have finished the pre-online enrollment you will will need to fax or scan the documents to the Enrollment Specialist in Student Services.
Student Services office is located at the Oxford Community Schools Administration building
in the at 10. N. Washington located on the Northeast
corner of M-24 and Burdick. Please park
in the lot off of Burdick and enter through the back door.
Required Documentation for Enrollment
- Original birth certificate with the raised seal
- Two (2) Proofs of Residency with your first & last name,
address and current date:
- Homeowner
- Current Mortgage statement OR current Property Tax statement with your first & last name, address and current date
- Current utility, wireless, insurance bill or bank statement with your first & last name, address and current date
- Renters
- Current lease (all pages) with your first & last name, address and
current date. If your lease has expired
and is now month to month, please being your lease AND your landlord’s first & last name,
address and phone number to verify status.
- Current utility, wireless, insurance bill or bank statement with your first & last name, address and current date
- Living
with a Resident
- Current mortgage statement or property tax
statement or lease of the homeowner with their first & last name, address, and current date.
- Currently utility, wireless, insurance bill or
bank statement with your first & last name, address, and current date.
- ***A signed and notarized
affidavit by you (the parent) and the homeowner which Oxford Schools supplies
and can notarize at no charge.
- Immunization Record (available at Department of
Health or Doctors office)
- Health Appraisal completed and signed by parent
- Vision Screening (Developmental Kindergarten and
Kindergarten students only)
- Parent Drivers license (this only verifies who
the parent is, not used for residency)
- Legal Custody or legal Guardianship
Documentation (Divorce Decree, PPO’s, Court Order)
-All Special Education documentation IEP &
MET or 504 Plan
-Current Student Transcript/Report Card
