My name is Jon Hazlett, and I teach art to approximately 1,100 students at Clear Lake, Leonard and Daniel Axford Elementary buildings. This year, all art classes are one hour every-other-week, except for the Young Fives classes, which are a half-hour every week. I have been teaching elementary art in Oxford since 1999, and I have also taught summer school (language arts and math) in Oxford for several years. As I gain more experience with infusing technology into art education, I have been attending and presenting at the MACUL educational technology conference every year since 2003. Aside from teaching, I love hanging out with my cats, visiting art galleries, creating music, and performing comedy improv.
