At Monday’s school board meeting the District’s quarterly Safety Update was presented. Considering the heightened sensitivities our school community is understandably feeling, we wanted to share the Safety Update Powerpoint directly for those who did not attend or were not able to watch the meeting via live stream. This document can also be found under item nine within the March 14, School Board Agenda under the Board of Education tab on our website. Our team has added frequently asked questions regarding safety protocol to the FAQ’s located within our Safety and Security tab as well and these FAQ's are also linked to the front page of the website.
Additionally, under the same topic of Safety and Security, the Oakland County Health Division (OCHD) is no longer requiring that school COVID cases need to be posted on district websites. Considering, as a district, we continue to see the consistent sharp decline in cases with only three cases in the entire district at this time, we will no longer report case numbers on our website beyond this week. Please know, it is still required that we report positive cases to the OCHD so continue to notify your child’s school if they should test positive.
