Dear Oxford Community Schools Parents, Students, and Staff,

We are excited to announce that Mrs. Stephanie Niemi has been selected to become the Principal at Clear Lake Elementary School which was vacated when Mr. Brad Bigelow accepted the position as Oxford Middle School Principal.  Mrs. Niemi has been with Oxford Community Schools since 2007.  During that time, Mrs. Niemi has served as a general education and special education teacher at Oxford Elementary School and Oxford Virtual Academy.  Most recently, Mrs. Niemi served the last 6 years as the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme Coordinator and Elementary District Math Instructional Coach.  Mrs. Niemi has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University, a Master of Arts in Education from Michigan State University, and a Master of Arts in K-12 Educational Administration from Michigan State University.   

We are very excited to have Mrs. Niemi join the administrative team in Oxford Community Schools.  We are also grateful to the many internal applicants who expressed interest in this position.  We would be remiss if we did not acknowledge the amazing and dedicated employees who have the experience, qualifications, and preparation to serve in this capacity.
