As a reminder, individuals interested in applying to fulfill the remainder of either of the two vacant school board seats must submit a letter of intent by 3:00 pm tomorrow, Sept. 21, 2022. Letters of intent can be submitted either electronically to [email protected] or on paper to Superintendent Weaver at 10 N. Washington St. Oxford, MI 48371 in order to receive an application for consideration for appointment by the school board. Please see the attachments below for more details:
By law and according to the School Board Policy 0142.5 on board vacancies, the school board has 30 days to appoint a qualified individual from the community to fulfill the remainder of this term. The Board may interview all interested candidates to ascertain their qualifications. Appointment by the Board to fill a vacancy shall be by majority vote of the full Board.
